FURY UK @SOSFEST 2010
From the very off, it was clear to see that the guys from Fury Uk had one sole intention when they walked on stage at the fantastic SOSFEST….To blow off the roof! This was single handedly, one of the best performances of the year for me. The pure energy that they dispersed into the crowd was frightening. They are a tight compact 3 piece, that deliver pure metal….none of the naff sub-genre’s are welcome in the Fury UK camp, its balls out metal!
They had whipped the crowd in to frenzy and they were relishing every moment. Whether is was Chris’s tight and sharp guitar playing or Luke laying down the most evil bass frequencies imaginable it was all tied together by the sick and twisted rhythmic drumming of Martin which rocked the Radcliffe Civic suites.
This was special indeed, whether they were fired up as they were due to be playing for Blaze Bayley later in the set or the fact that they were promoting a new single on the front of this coming months Metal Hammer, they were clearly on top of their game. What amazes me about Fury UK is that they are a 3 piece!? That huge sound is phenomenal and to be honest, after hearing a few tracks from the upcoming album, I can not wait for the release.
To sum up, the four famous words I would use to describe this FURY UK set would be….METAL UP YOUR ASS!
