live @academy Manchester 05/11/10

The last time that Bleeding Through played in Manchester it was supporting the mighty Machine Head. That night, they left a killer impression and that sets this show up nicely with huge anticipation. You could sense the atmosphere crackling and bonfire night was clearly a fitting night for this band to be taking the stage.
Branden Schiepatti clearly has a Henry Rollins look about him, this guy is certainly a bruiser and to be honest, that’s the way you want a frontman of a metal band to be, none of this floppy fringe stuff prancing around on stage. With his black flag tattoo’s, it is clear to see that this guy’s influences are definitely what shaped him. He really does have a phenomenal stage presence, being bullish and instructing the fans to crowd surf, which they do, gladly.

I do believe that history was made at the Academy with this gig, I have never seen a circlepit so big in there, it stretched to all four walls and was absolutely vicious. If the room was bigger, I’m damn sure that the circlepit would have been too. I can safely say, the Bleeding Through fans are without doubt, as intense and ferocious as the band themselves and that’s what sets them apart from other bands. It was clear that the band revel in that and it gives them a buzz.
There were quite a lot of bands on this Never say Die tour and I do believe that Bleeding Through have gained a lot of new fans from it, and I don’t think it will be long until a potential headline tour in the UK could happen. This band killed it on stage, and to be honest I feel that it was a shame that Bleeding Through were playing a shorter set as I would have loved to see the pure power of a full set.
To sum up, Bleeding Through have everything to take them to the next level in the UK, the fanbase, the performance and energy and obviously the powerful music and if this show was anything to go by, they will continue to kick ass for a very long time. If you get chance, go and see them because you will regret it if you dont.
